Does Future Sabres Stud Owen Power Have the Sweetest Name Ever?

On Saturday, the Buffalo Sabres lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0. That means the Sabres finished off the regular season with the worst record which in turns means they'll have the highest odds at the #1 pick. It was a rocky year for the Sabres that included an in-season coaching change. The team parted with Ralph Krueger and promoted Dan Granato to Interim Head Coach. The team played with more fire under Granato and finished the season better than it started thanks to Granato. Still, it wasn't enough. The Sabres still finished in last, but I like to move ahead.

I decided to hop on and check out some of the names that were available in the draft. It sounds like the consensus number 1 pick is defenceman Owen Power, who's playing at Michigan currently. I don't know that much about Power, but I do know one thing. This dude has one of the sweetest names I've ever heard.

I thought that Carlos Basham Jr was the coolest name I've ever heard but then Mr. Power came to my attention. You're watching a game of hockey and the name instantly stands out to you on the back of the jersey. For the opposition, you see that Power name on the back of a jersey and you instantly take a gulp and get intimidated. I mean look at how awesome his name looks on a Sabres jersey.

Now, it's not a guarantee the Sabres get the #1 pick and get to take him. If they do though, get ready for the sweetest name in sports. I guess the kid's pretty talented too, but the name is more-so what I care about.
